The INSTI HIV Self-Test uses unique technology to detect HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies using just a drop of blood. It is over 99% accurate and can detect HIV antibodies as early as 21-22 days after exposure, depending on how quickly a person’s immune system generates HIV antibodies (up to 3 months post-exposure). There is no special training required to perform the test. Simply follow the helpful guide included in the test kit or watch the instructional video.

Intended Use
The INSTI HIV Self-Test is a single use in vitro self-test for the detection of antibodies to Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1) and Type 2 (HIV-2) in whole blood. The test is intended for use as a self-test by users 18 years or older. Please do not use this test if you:
- Are below the age of 18
- Are taking Anti-retroviral Treatment (ART)
- Have participated in a HIV vaccine study
- Have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder
- Are afraid of needles
