To properly use the ovulation test, follow these steps:
- Determine the day you will begin testing by referring to the “When to Start Testing Chart”.
- Prior to opening the pouch, ensure that the test is at room temperature. Remove the midstream test from the sealed pouch and use it within one hour.
- Remove the Cap and place it over the Thumb Grip as shown in the illustration. Hold the midstream test by the capped Thumb Grip, with the Absorbent Tip pointing downward. Immerse the Absorbent Tip into your urine stream for a minimum of 15 seconds, making sure it is thoroughly wet. Alternatively, you can urinate into a clean and dry container and dip only the Absorbent Tip into the urine for at least 15 seconds. Note: Avoid urinating on the Result Window.
- After removing the midstream test from your urine, promptly replace the Cap over the Absorbent Tip. Place the midstream test on a flat surface with the Result Window facing upwards, and start timing.
- As the test begins to work, you may observe a light-colored flow moving across the Result Window. Read the result at 3 minutes. If no result appears, wait for one more minute. Avoid reading the result after 10 minutes, as it may not be accurate.
The CiTEST Ovulation Test is a highly accurate and convenient ovulation test designed to assist women in predicting their fertile window. This product is intended for home use by women who are actively trying to conceive. This box contains five individual test strips, providing multiple opportunities for testing and enhancing the accuracy of ovulation prediction. It is recommended to start testing a few days before the anticipated ovulation date to increase the chances of detecting the LH surge. The CiTEST Ovulation Test is easy to use, and results can be obtained within minutes. It is important to carefully follow the instructions provided with the kit to ensure accurate and reliable results.

A: The LH Ovulation Test demonstrates a clinical evaluation accuracy of over 99.9% based on sensitivity, specificity, and overall accuracy.
Q: What is the sensitivity of the LH Ovulation Test?
A: The LH Ovulation Test detects luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine at concentrations of 40 mIU/mL or higher, with no cross-reactivity observed with other hormones.
Q: Can alcohol or common medications affect the test?
A: No, but it is recommended to consult a physician if taking hormonal medication, and certain factors like recent oral contraceptive use, breastfeeding, or pregnancy could affect the test results.
Q: Why should I not use first morning urine? What time of the day should I perform the test?
A: First morning urine is not recommended as it may give false positive results, and the test can be performed at any other time of the day, preferably at approximately the same time each day.
Q: Will the amount of liquid I drink affect the result?
A: Heavy intake of fluids prior to testing may dilute the hormone in the urine, so it is suggested to limit fluid intake for about two hours before performing the test.
Q: How long will the lines remain visible?
A: The test should be read at 3 minutes for best results, and while positive results will not disappear, faint second color lines may appear due to evaporation from the test line, so results should not be read after 10 minutes.
Q: Once I see a positive result, when is the best time to have intercourse?
A: Ovulation is likely to occur within 24-36 hours after a positive result, which is the most fertile time for conception, so sexual intercourse within this timeframe is advised.
Q: Does the LH Ovulation Test replace the basal body temperature method (BBT)?
A: The LH Ovulation Test does not replace the BBT method as it indicates that ovulation is about to occur, while the BBT method confirms that ovulation has already happened.
Q: I received a positive result and had intercourse during these fertile days, but I have not become pregnant. What should I do?
A: There are various factors that can affect pregnancy, and it may take several months of using the test kit before achieving pregnancy, so if pregnancy is not achieved after 3-4 months, it is recommended to consult a physician.
Q: I have had a positive result and had intercourse during these fertile days. I think I may be pregnant. How soon can I find out?
A: The LH Ovulation Test can provide results as early as the first day of your missed period for early detection of pregnancy.
