- Prior to opening the pouch, ensure that the test is at room temperature. Remove the midstream test from the sealed pouch and use it within one hour.
- Remove the Cap and place it over the Thumb Grip as shown in the illustration. Hold the midstream test by the capped Thumb Grip, with the Absorbent Tip pointing downward. Immerse the Absorbent Tip into your urine stream for a minimum of 15 seconds, making sure it is thoroughly wet. Alternatively, you can urinate into a clean and dry container and dip only the Absorbent Tip into the urine for at least 15 seconds. Note: Avoid urinating on the Result Window.
- After removing the midstream test from your urine, promptly replace the Cap over the Absorbent Tip. Place the midstream test on a flat surface with the Result Window facing upwards, and start timing.
- As the test begins to work, you may observe a light-colored flow moving across the Result Window. Read the result at 3 minutes. If no result appears, wait for one more minute. Avoid reading the result after 10 minutes, as it may not be accurate.
